FCL gives one shipment exclusive use of a container. It suits larger consignments, full household moves and cargo requiring its own loading plan. We coordinate equipment, positioning and sailing arrangements.
Weight and package dimensions matter as much as volume. Dense cargo may reach weight limits before filling the container. Door clearance, loading access and any need for high-cube or special equipment must also be checked.
Confirm the loading location, handling equipment and time required before positioning the container. Weight distribution and securing are essential. Terminal delivery must meet booking deadlines; late preparation can affect the sailing and create extra charges.
Ocean freight is one cost component. Inland transport, port handling, documentation and destination services depend on the agreed scope. A 20ft estimate does not apply automatically to 40ft or special cargo; equipment conditions are confirmed in the offer.
